DueSmart Tracker
3-Minute Tutorial Brief
All 16 producer questions answered from the live product, with the demo card, a 285-word narration, screen actions, and the short list DocTA must verify before SAMIES records.
How this draft was produced
Every answer comes from a scan of the live product on October 4, 2026: tracker.duesmart.com, the Simple View, and the Tracker app at duesmart.com/app.html. Labels in gold are copied from the app as it stands today. Nothing is invented; where two pages disagree, the item is listed in the verification section.
A word for SAMIES
The audience is largely older people and seniors, and they do not like the word "AI." Call Grace "our phone helper" and call Ask DueSmart and Voice Coach "text help and voice help," exactly as the site does.
Mission statement
DueSmart exists so that nobody loses money to a date they did not know about. Every credit card runs on two dates, the statement close date and the payment due date, and most people only know one. The DueSmart Tracker puts both dates for every card and loan into one calm view, with reminders, so you pay the right amount at the right time, keep your reported balance low, and stay ready for the next apartment, car, mortgage, or business opportunity.
It does this without ever asking for a bank login, a full card number, a CVV, or a PIN. You type a nickname and the dates and amounts you choose. Your data stays in your browser. DueSmart is an organization and reminder tool, not credit repair, lending, or financial advice, and it never promises a score.
Why I built DueSmart (from the live page)
DocTA Dwight built the Tracker for himself when he started from no credit with four secured cards while running four businesses. Seven months later his score was 727. He shared it with friends, and what they valued most was that they never had to put a card number into it.
Questions 1 to 8
1. Primary audience and biggest frustration
People who carry several cards and loans, many of them older adults and seniors, who have been burned by a late fee or a surprise high balance on their report. Their frustration, in the site's words, is that they only know the due date and have never tracked the close date, so they "pay after the snapshot and wonder why the balance still showed high." A second frustration is distrust of apps that demand a bank login.
2. The single most important outcome in three minutes
The viewer adds one card with both dates and sees the Tracker tell them what to pay and when. Concretely, the dashboard tiles Next Close, Next Due, and Pay Before Close change from empty to real values. If they leave understanding there are two dates and DueSmart tracks both, the video has done its job.
3. Exact steps and labels for getting started and adding a first card
There is no traditional account signup. The app's own panel says No account required. The flow:
- On tracker.duesmart.com, tap Complete Form & Unlock 2 Free Spaces. The Free Preview Form asks for Full name, Email, Mobile phone, What is your main credit-health goal? and an agreement checkbox. Tap Submit & Unlock My 2 Free Spaces.
- You land in the Tracker. The empty dashboard shows Next Best Move: Add your first card with an Add Card button. The bottom bar reads Today, Add Card, Mark Paid, Backup.
- Tap Add Card. The form is titled Add One Card In Under A Minute and marked Nickname only.
- Fill in Issuer preset (Custom issuer, Capital One, Chase, American Express, Citi, Discover, Bank of America, Wells Fargo), Card nickname, Last 4 digits (optional), Type (Credit card or Loan), Use (Personal or Business), Balance today, Credit limit, Minimum payment, Statement close date, Payment due date, and Reminder window (1, 2, 3, 5, or 7 days before).
- Tap Save Card.
Paid members instead tap Login, enter Purchase email and Access code, and tap Enter Dashboard. Do not show that flow in a beginner video.
4. Required information, and fictional data
Only a nickname plus timing and balance information. The form's own words: "Never enter full card numbers, CVV, PIN, bank passwords, or bank login details." Completely fictional data is the correct choice: built-in guardrails block full card numbers before anything is saved. Optional fields to skip on camera: Autopay, Payment mode, Payment website, Interest rate, Color, Notes, and Card strategy (optional).
5. Statement close date versus payment due date
The close date is the day the issuer takes a snapshot of your balance and may report it to the bureaus; it shapes reported utilization. The due date is the deadline to pay at least the minimum to avoid a late fee and a late mark, and it lands after the balance has already been reported.
DueSmart helps with the close date through the Statement Close Map, Pay Before Close Targets, and the Next Close tile. It helps with the due date through the Next Due tile, Your Card Calendar, reminders, and Mark Paid.
6. Credit utilization, and the feature that shows it
Utilization is how much of your available credit you are using; a $500 balance on a $2,000 limit is 25%. The site suggests staying under 30%, lower is often better, no score promised. The exact features: the Card utilization tile (caption: "Keep it comfortably below 30%"), the Utilization goal selector in Backup (1%, 9%, 10%, 29%), and the Pay Before Close tile, which shows the dollar amount to pay before close to hit the goal. The public page also has a free calculator with Card credit limit, Balance right now, and Utilization target.
7. What happens after a payment is recorded
Tap Mark Paid, then Record Payment. The box asks for Account, Amount, Paid on, Confirmation, and three checkboxes: Paid at least minimum, Paid statement/full target, Saved confirmation. Tap Save Payment. The payment appears in the Payment Log, the card's balance drops, and that moves Balance tracked, Available credit, Card utilization, and Pay Before Close. Whether Needs attention and the Timing Score change on the first payment should be confirmed during recording.
8. What the dashboard shows right after a card is added
The Today view has ten tiles: Balance tracked, Available credit, Loan balance, Monthly minimums, Card utilization, Next payment, Needs attention, Next Close, Next Due, Pay Before Close. Below them: All Cards At A Glance, Statement Close Map, Pay Before Close Targets (Target: under 10% utilization), Your Card Calendar with Enable Browser Alerts, Timing Score, and Your Cards with filters All, Personal, Business, Cards, Loans.
Questions 9 to 16
9. Reminders, notifications, calendar export, next-action features
- Browser reminder alerts, set per card at 1, 2, 3, 5, or 7 days before, turned on with Enable Browser Alerts (they fire while the app is open).
- Download Calendar .ics in Backup exports close and due dates to Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook.
- Next Best Move names the next action; the Needs attention tile counts items inside your reminder window.
- The Timing Score gives one health number from reminder coverage, utilization status, and upcoming close dates.
- Reminder emails for paid members, sent before each due date (confirmed in the app's code on October 4, 2026), plus browser alerts in the app for everyone.
- Text help and voice help (Ask DueSmart and Voice Coach) are paid-member features, not in the free preview.
10. Free versus paid, and what must not be shown as free
| Feature | Free Preview ($0, after the form) | Tracker 12 months ($99) |
|---|---|---|
| Accounts tracked | Up to 2 cards or loans | Up to 25 cards or loans |
| Close and due date tracking | Yes | Yes, plus Pay Before Close targets |
| Reminders | Basic browser reminders | Full reminder system, 1 to 7 days, plus reminder emails |
| Payment and purchase logging | Yes | Yes |
| Calendar export (.ics) | Yes | Yes |
| Backup | Locked backup and restore | JSON and locked backup |
| Multi-device sync (purchaser portal) | No | Yes |
| Ask DueSmart text help and Voice Coach | No | Yes |
Setup help packages: Starter $149 (up to 5 accounts), Plus $349 (6 to 15), Complete $699 (16 to 25), each including the 12-month Tracker. Extra time $75 an hour, agreed in advance. The $99 is paid once for 12 months; DueSmart emails 30 days before it ends and never charges automatically.
Do not demonstrate as free: more than 2 accounts, logging in on a second device, text or voice help, or the Business plan.
11. Simple View, text size, language, accessibility
- Easier to read: Simple View link in the top bar of tracker.duesmart.com, leading to one short page with big text and plain words.
- A− and A+ text-size buttons in the top bar; Simple View has a Bigger text button.
- Language selector with six choices: English, Patwa, Español, Français, Kreyòl, Português. The app has a Language dropdown with 22 languages.
- A Theme switch (light and dark) in the app menu.
- Phone help at (470) 740-8343: Grace, the phone helper, answers day or night; say "person" to reach Dwight, Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm Eastern.
12. Three most common mistakes or questions
- "Do I need to connect my bank or enter my card number?" No, never. Nickname and dates only.
- Only tracking the due date and paying after the close date, then wondering why the reported balance was high.
- "Will this raise my credit score?" DueSmart cannot promise that; it builds the habits and timing that may help.
13. What to leave out of a three-minute beginner tutorial
The paid login flow, the Business plan, courses and the Credit Health Passport, the coach portal and affiliate center, the Card strategy (optional) fields, Paste Cards Or Loans and Import Statement, JSON backup, the Timing Score formula, and the text and voice help. Also leave out any claim about score changes or approvals.
14. Closing message and call to action
"Two dates run every card. Now you know both. Start free with two cards at tracker.duesmart.com, no bank login, no card numbers. If you want a hand, call (470) 740-8343 and we will set it up with you."
Add the disclaimer in text on screen: DueSmart is an organization tool, not credit repair or financial advice, and does not guarantee score changes.
15. Fictional example and sequence
Written out in full in the next three sections.
16. What Dwight must verify
Listed in the final section.
The fictional demo card and click-by-click workflow
One made-up card so the math is easy to read on screen. No last 4 digits, no real issuer account.
| Field (exact label) | Value to type |
|---|---|
| Issuer preset | Custom issuer |
| Card nickname | Blue Card |
| Last 4 digits | leave blank |
| Type | Credit card |
| Use | Personal |
| Balance today | 900 |
| Credit limit | 2000 |
| Minimum payment | 35 |
| Statement close date | the 21st of the coming month |
| Payment due date | the 15th of the month after that |
| Reminder window | 3 days before |
With those numbers the card reports 45% utilization. Pay Before Close should show $700, the amount that brings the balance to $200, which is 10% of the $2,000 limit. That is the same math the public calculator shows with the same inputs.
Click-by-click
- Open tracker.duesmart.com. Tap Complete Form & Unlock 2 Free Spaces. Fill the Free Preview Form with a fictional name and email, pick "Organize statement-close and payment-due dates," tick the agreement, tap Submit & Unlock My 2 Free Spaces.
- On the empty Tracker, point at the four prompts: Nickname the card, Add close date, Add due date, Get reminders. Tap Add Card.
- Enter the values above. Tap Save Card.
- Return to Today. Point at Next Close, Next Due, Card utilization (45%), Pay Before Close ($700).
- Scroll to Statement Close Map and Your Card Calendar. Tap Enable Browser Alerts and accept the browser prompt.
- Tap Mark Paid, then Record Payment. Choose Blue Card as Account, type 700 in Amount, today's date in Paid on, tick Paid statement/full target, tap Save Payment.
- Back on Today, point at the changed tiles: Balance tracked ($200), Card utilization (10%), Pay Before Close ($0). Show the entry in Payment Log.
- Tap Backup, then Download Calendar .ics. Show the file landing.
- Finish on the top bar of tracker.duesmart.com: Easier to read: Simple View, A+, and the Language list.
Before recording, tap Reset Demo Data in Backup if the browser already has cards in it, and record in a fresh browser profile so the two free spaces are open.
Narration script
About 285 words, roughly three minutes at a calm pace. Numbers match the screen actions below.
[1]Every credit card runs on two dates. There is the due date, the one everybody knows. And there is the statement close date, the day your card company takes a picture of your balance and may report it. Most people only track one. That is how a late fee sneaks in, and how a high balance shows up on your report even after you paid it.
[2]The DueSmart Tracker keeps both dates for every card and loan in one calm view. And it never asks for your bank login, your card number, or your PIN. You type a nickname and the dates you choose. That is all.
[3]Here is how to start. Fill out one short form and you unlock two free spaces in your browser. No payment card needed.
[4]Tap Add Card. Give it a nickname, like Blue Card. Enter the balance, the limit, the minimum, the close date, the due date, and how many days ahead you want a reminder. Save.
[5]Look at what happens. The Tracker now shows your next close date, your next due date, and your utilization, 45 percent on this card. And it tells you the exact amount to pay before close to bring that down to 10 percent. Seven hundred dollars. No guessing.
[6]Turn on browser alerts, and the Tracker warns you before each date, not the day after. Paid members get those reminders by email too.
[7]When you pay, tap Mark Paid, enter the amount, and save. The balance drops, utilization updates, and the payment sits in your log.
[8]Want it in your own calendar? One tap downloads a file for Apple, Google, or Outlook.
[9]Need bigger text, plain words, or another language? Simple View, the text size buttons, and six languages are right at the top.
[10]Two dates run every card. Now you know both. Start free with two cards at tracker duesmart dot com. And if you would like a hand, call 470-740-8343 and we will set it up with you.
[11]DueSmart is an organization tool, not credit repair or financial advice, and it does not promise a score.

Items DocTA must verify before publication
Everything else is verified against the live pages. These are the points where behavior must be confirmed on screen.
Resolved October 4, 2026
The in-app $149 panel now shows the three setup tiers with the two-week check-in email and no follow-up call. Email reminders were confirmed in the app's code (paid members), and the public page now says "reminder emails for paid members, plus browser alerts in the app." Both projects are deployed to main.
Pay Before Close math on the real card. Confirm the Blue Card example shows $700 at the default 10% target, and that the target changes with the Utilization goal selector (1%, 9%, 10%, 29%).
Which tiles change after Save Payment, and whether the Timing Score moves on the first payment. Record and watch.
Free preview unlock. Confirm the form unlocks two spaces in the same browser without a payment step, and what the app shows when a third card is attempted (the Free Preview Includes 2 Accounts box).
Browser alerts prompt. Confirm the exact browser permission dialog on the recording device.
Grace. Confirm the phone line answers day or night and that saying "person" transfers Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm Eastern.
Language count. The public page lists 6 languages; the app lists 22. The script says "six" because the viewer sees the public page at that moment. Confirm which to show.
Founder lifetime customers. The page says existing lifetime purchases remain unchanged. Keep this out unless you want it mentioned.
Mission statement wording. Drafted from the live "Why I built DueSmart" section. Approve or edit it in your own voice before SAMIES records.
